Just like on our old message boards, we would like folks to follow a few basic, common-sense rules to make things fun and reasonably polite for everyone. If you have any questions or problems, please feel free to send a note to the moderators or administrators. General Rules: Respect the netiquette: this is common sense. Just as society has rules for how to interact in real life, the 'Net has rules for proper conduct on the web. No ALL CAPS yelling, no spamming, and no flaming. Lurk around and get to know the forums and how to post if you're unsure about the conventions. Post to the appropriate forum. There are designated boards for Tech Support issues a…

It's been an increasing problem, in general, with sellers trying to pass off(mail) comics as media mail. Just FYI, the Postal Inspectors are opening packages and making the customer pay for the additional postage, not fair to the customer who already paid for the first class postage fee in the first place. Do not send comics media mail please, the Postal Inspectors will catch you.

My husband has passed away and I have probably 5000 comics. I am at a loss as to how I am going to sell these. They are all in sleeves and boxes. I live in Austin, TX.

  5. So Atomic Avenue does not use the transition grades. So for someone who has lots of books with those transition grades (like "VF/NM"), which grade would you move them to? Always the lower? Always the upper? Different ones for different transition grades?

  6. I don't know how many of you were ordering your comics from TFAW.com, but I have been doing it for years. Their website was easy to navigate. I could select whatever comic and whatever cover I wanted with easy-to-see images of them, and not pay for shipping or the comic until my order was ready to send out, with a card they had on file to charge it to. I have searched far and wide for a replacement source to get my comics from. I really wanted to use Atomic Avenue because what a great place to do it from if it's the same outfit that makes this great inventory program ComicBase, right? But wow, I couldn't navigate their system to save my life. Trying to…

  7. I've been looking for this in ComicBase for several releases but have not been able to find it. Can someone point me in the correct direction. Thanks

  8. Hi there, I'm having some issues finding the appropriate drop-down for a mini-series. The series is "The Final Night" which includes superheroes on a snowy ledge. The mini-series is only 4 issues but when I search for the title of the series, it is only finding a series about Krueger. If I search through other Superman volumes, it does not indicate a mini-series being associated with them. Bar code is not finding anything when used either, however that may be an extra layer of user error as I am small seller who is just listing a personal collection. Any ideas? I've attached which comic I'm referring to below. Thanks, HP

USPS seems to be a bit of a mess right now, if anyone hasn't run in to this yet. I'd encourage anyone to not use Media Mail (a topic already brought up before I believe..) to ship books out. They're taking far too long to arrive, especially if they're coming east through Indianapolis. Mail is getting caught up there for days/ weeks. I'm waiting on a book right now that should have been here a week ago or so that's bouncing between sites in Indy. Just an FYI Steve

  10. Started by Arun Rohila,

The cost for mailing slabbed comics seems off. I have one slabbed comic that sold and the postage amount that Atomic Avenue put in was $8.15, which isn't even cover 1st class postage by the time it's was packed. With all the protection wrapping around it, it was 2 lbs. And it's longer then a Medium Priority USPS box. Any suggestions on mailing it safer without paying a bunch for postage...besides Media mail.

A customer has the following question (his post was deleted at his request due to his full name being shown). "Hi, everyone. Trying to buy some books from a seller in Canada, but when I login, the items are removed from the cart. Any idea how to message a seller on here to ask about shipping to America? " If someone replies, he might see it.

Wishlist alerts which are returned to us because of disabled mailboxes, invalidated email addresses, or other similar reasons will result in the removal of the wishlist from the user's Atomic Avenue account. If you wish to continue getting wishlist alerts when items you are interested in buying have become available, make sure the email address associated with your Atomic Avenue account is able to receive the alerts. Atomic Avenue requires all users to have valid contact information including a working email address and phone number.

  14. Is there a way to Save for items Later and also is there a way to add a seller as a favorite.

Is there some reason my reports are not going to the server for me to view in the Mobile App? It says sent, but never actually updates with a new Report. Neither on my mobile device or my laptop when I sign into the website.

  16. When entering a regular book in my database, for which there is no other entry, how do I ensure that is shows up on Atomic Avenue?

  17. May someone point me in the direction of where CBLDF Defender and CBLDF Defender (Vol. 2) are now located in the database. Thank you.

  18. First off, I have a five star rating that is now in jeopardy because of this guy and his inability to look in his spam folder, or send a basic inquiry. A hundred dollar comic was purchased from me, and god knows why that issue was even remotely worth that much, but hey, I don't set the prices, comic base does. It was a straight shock that that issue was "worth" that much. So it was bought and shipped same day, and randomly a week later it's back. Unopened. Just a new label slapped on it. No messages, no explanation, no request for refund, NOTHING. So naturally I email him. Nothing. A week later I email again. Nothing again. Then finally the buyer actuall…

Hi, all, and happy new year. I found this site from some random post on Reddit, and am very thankful for it. I don't tend to have many conventions in my area, and the few comic shops in the area tend to overprice the kind of thing I'm looking for. I love books from the 70's and 80's, and I've found so many reader-quality copies on here for a buck or two a piece. It's a bit of a mini-game to find the right seller combo (minimum dollar amount vs needing issues from different sellers), but I'm happy to do it. I know this is not really a conversation topic, but I just wanted to thank the site owners as well as the sellers on here. I'll absolutely keep coming b…

  20. You can now search Atomic Avenue for issues by the cover artist. To search by cover artist, click on the Find button next to the search bar and select Cover Artist. Enter the name of the cover artist and you will see available issues with covers by that artist. To include unavailable items, uncheck the Show Only Items in Stock checkbox in the upper right hand side. Sellers can now regrade or cancel items ordered in multiples greater than one. For instance, if the buyer has purchased 2 copies of an issue, but the seller discovers one is not available, the seller can cancel one and ship the other. Similarly if one item is overgraded, the seller can regrade it without a…

I guess I missed the announcement on this. I was on Atomic Avenue today and the current value for a give issue is no longer presented. Why was this removed and when did it happen? I liked having it there.

  22. Hey gang! Super new to this awesome site. I was wondering if any of you knew a way to use the wonderful website to find local sellers near to where I live. Thank you for the help!

  23. I have a number of Savage Dragon TPB's and have found that the database for the images for book 5 is actually book 7 (a talk with god issues 27-33), #5 is revenge issues 17-21 (the cover you show for Book 4). cover you show for Book3, 2nd print is cover for Book 4. Richard

Is there a way to select multiple comics at once from a seller on Atomic Avenue, or do I have to click “buy” for each one?

  25. Why have Marvel Previews and DC Connect started to be listed as "magazines" instead of "comic books" as in the past? Why is the current iteration of G.I. Joe listed as a Marvel comic instead of IDW. I mean, it's been IDW since 2008. Can these things be fixed?
