Is there no way to waive shipping to ameliorate a mistake?

I'm not a business, I'm just trying to clean out my house-so I've made a couple mistakes and users have wanted  me to waive shipping as a way to make up for the mistake-I'd be happy to do that, but i can't find a method to. In the orders summary, there are ways to regrade or cancel individual books, but no drop downs or buttons for controlling the shipping.

    I have occasionally done this by refunding the shipping charge through PayPal once payment for the order has been received.
